Qualified as Master Mariner
|

Work Experience
|
|
Having good working experience in International and National environment and with multi-nationalities.
|
|
Proficiency in bulk carriers operations, cargo operations (loading / discharging), cargo handling, cargo gears / equipments operations, maintenance etc. Cargo holds preparations and stability calculations for different types of dry bulk cargoes including grain.
|
|
Be able to handle extensive planning and stowage of various cargo and last minute changes in stowage including critical changeovers of cargo types with extensive cleaning, holds preparations.
|
|
Be able to successfully handle the safety of vessel and her crew while diligently planning, loading, monitoring, stowage and discharging of all cargo placed on board with owner’s best interest in mind
|
|
Will be able to carry out accurate Draft survey for dry bulk cargoes loading & discharging. Carryout damage assessment, demurrage / dispatch calculation process claims etc.
|
|
Be able to demonstrate analytical problem solving and organizational ability coupled with strong communication and relationship management in various crisis situations.
|
|
Conversant in planning and scheduling effective shipboard maintenance schedule
|
|
Be able to cope with ISM, ISPS, and ISO external / internal audits, port state control inspections, requirements etc to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with international rules and regulations.
|
|
Be able to train the vessel’s crew on safety (fire fighting and life saving appliances) and environment programs and ensuring adherence so as to execute operations as per set environmental stipulations.
|
|
Be able to prepare the vessel for External audits, Rightship vetting and USCG / Port State inspections etc.
|
|
Be able to uphold company policies & directives to ensure strict compliance & maintain a high moral on board.
|
|
